Mine arrived yesterday. Not really desert tan. It's straight up brown. Drop it in fall foliage, and you'll likely loose it unless it's turn on when you drop it.

The white Chapstick top makes a nice diffused light. The red one from Carmex you see. The Carmex fit better than the Chapstick on my flashlight. Now to test others if I can find some.

Emailed Olight on Saturday, they responded early this morning with a tracking number showing delivery today. As @Wasp suggested it seems that they were slightly overwhelmed with the quantity of orders for these.
An additional delay factor may be that the carrier is "UPS smartpost", which is when UPS hands it off to the USPS for final delivery.
In my experience the handoff is similar to a 7th grade relay race... lots of batons on the track.

So, this has been a fun thread with everyone getting their lights and others waiting for them. :)

I still haven't received a shipping confirmation email, so I sent them a query this morning. Then checked my informed delivery and it shows that shipping information was sent to the post office, but they aren't yet in possession of the package. :) I'm anxious to get my light. :) Not worried about not getting it, just want to have it and play with it. :)

A lanyard would be something else in my pocket so I don't use them for anything in my pocket.

All is forgiven, mainly due to how cool this tiny little flashlight is.
It's nothing short of amazing, as you know. Pretty impressive technology at a really impressive price (even without the giveaway deal.)
    Definitely not my last Olight.
And thank you. You showed me the light.

Got my reply from customer service and as expected, there is a slight delay due to the volume of orders they received. :)

I get that it's designed as a keychain light, but if I could find a way to tail stand this thing, it'd be perfection.

Well, after 6 days on the road it made it home tonight. Strange bronze color but I kinda like it. This one will hang with my Eldris necker.

You could always buy one outright. They aren't much. $8 on that site, $10 on Amazon with prime.

    ....but better order two. ;)

Mine was here yesterday. Awesome cool light for sure. Won't be my last Olight either. I've had one before too, a AA sized one, and it seemed to me that it lasted a long time pocket carried every day until something went wrong. I think actually that I wore the threads out on it. The threads were so fine that years of using it and carrying it in my pocket, that the threads wore out and when I would turn the light on, they were stripped in that spot. Best of my recollection anyhow. :)

I sure like this new little bugger though!

These really are great lights. I got a free black one when I ordered the also excellent PL-2 Valkyrie weapon light, which is currently on my glock 19.

I've got 5 of their lights now and they continually impress me.

Lost mine tonight. Fell out of my shirt pocket when I was feeding the critters.

I did find it though. But it sure blends in with the undergrass. :)

Well I was going to suggest putting it on your keys, but then your keys would be lost.

Look up a video on YouTube for the Diamond (Lanyard) knot or the Snake knot. Put a little 4" lanyard on it just for something to hold onto. It doesn't have to be orange, just contrast a little.

I am actually considering making a lanyard to go around my neck. Instead of a neck knife, a neck light! :)

Best idea I've heard in a long time. I use a flashlight about 30 times per day, a knife sometimes as little as zero and as often asy flashlight.

I ALWAYS need my light. I'm known just as much as The Flashlight Guy as I am The Knife Guy.

    Might steal this one!

This little torch is perfect on a neck lanyard. My inner fancy lad is wishing I had some flat dark earth paracord.

Well this sucks. I only got mine a couple weeks ago and the head fell off somewhere and is lost :-(

And I loved the light to. It worked perfectly and the brown color was awesome :-(

This happened to me once too, it fell off in my car luckily. That's the only issue I've had with it. I now check it regularly to make sure it's not backing off. I carry it on my keys so it gets bounced around a lot hanging from the carabiner on my belt loop. Have been thinking of ways to prevent it but haven't thought of anything definitive yet other than a small ranger band or the like but then you'd have to potentially roll it up to use it, though maybe not a bad thing to try.

I've had mine for years and years now, four plus probably? I've had it happen once while I was messing with it in my pocket. Maybe you unscrewed it to far to prevent a accidental on?

If you can't find it I highly recommend getting another and giving it a chance.

If it hasn't happened to you your probably over worrying.

Brilliant idea, thanks for the heads up. I just put one of @andy.t ‘s small ranger bands on my flashlight. Perfect fit. It holds the head and shrinks down to the diameter of the flashlight body. Not difficult to turn if you want it on. Works!

    8EB8C643-3DEA-4CEC-B330-7637255BD1B9.jpeg

That’s also Andy’s #1 paracord. Also good stuff.

I was thinking the exact same ranger band from the mix pack I have hahaha! Way to put it to action - I hadn't tried it yet myself....thanks for confirming!
