    I acquired some Orford carving tools, and since my son is too young to safely carve wood, I figured I would pay it forward to BCUSA and offer up my lightly used Mora Carving Knife and Hook Knife.

    I’d like to offer this up to anyone who has never tried carving or maybe someone who is tight on funds. I will let this run until Monday and then pick a name out of the hat. Cheers

    @MEC003 IS THE WINNER

    I have always wanted to try carving. So I guess I’ll say I’m in?
    That is all that’s required I assume?

    Don't know that what I've done could be considered carving, or that I'm not tight on funds, but i do have the implements to carve with. So not in, but this sure is generous and will give someone a good set of tools to start with.

    I would like to be in for this. I don't have any carving tools but have always wanted to try. Try with real tools that is. :)

    As I say about my previous attempts, it looked like I took a stick from a beaver pond and dragged it down the road behind my truck. :)

    If I win these, and find that I can carve, I will more than likely buy some other stuff and pass these along again. If I can't carve, I will most definitely be passing these down the line. :)

    I'm in.

    I always wanted a set of Mora tools like that (especially the spoon knife) but never made the leap to buy. I wanted to get into some carving this year and those two tools would help out.

    Thanks for doing the GAW.

    I'm in.

    Although I prefer playing with hot metal rather than wood, a hook knife is one of those things I've yet to pick up and try. Definitely interested in trying my hand at a cup and spoon.

    Thanks for the generous offer and the possibility of trying something new.

    I've thought about buying that set more than once. If there's no rules against being "in" on more than one giveaway, I'm in.

    Well, I've wanted to try carving and don't have any tools, so I guess I'm in! I'd really like to try using a Kuksa and will try making one if I win the tools. Thanks so much!

    I'm in. My wife bought me an antique "carving" set for fathers day and was so proud. She never looked in the box and thought it was for wood carving. When I opened it she was heart broken. I told her that I loved it any way and can't wait till Thanksgiving to use it.

    I am in. I have always wanted to try to carve a spoon but have always used the excuse , "I don't have the right tools" so if I happen to win I would have to quit dragging my feet and give it a whirl. Thanks for the GAW @SonsOfLiberty
