German Army shoulder bag

    Today I finished modifying a german army shoulder bag. Got the idea from @Kona9 Thanks!!! Great idea and I was excited to do this so my little guy will have his own little backpack when he's grown up a bit more and ready for it.
    I removed the original shoulder strap, cut it into 2 pieces and used it as the shoulder straps and attached it to the top plastic buckles. On the bottom, I sewed on some plastic rings on the bottom sides and used some surplus adjustable buckles and straps so that there will be some adjustment available. On the bottom of the pack, through the existing drain holes, I added some paracord and spring vlips which can be used to hold a little blanket or jacket, etc...
    Finally, I got another great looking Smokey Bear patch from ebay (falls creek outfitters). I have one if these on my LK35 and they are really nice.

    Looks great! How funny is that earlier this afternoon I was looking at one of the two extras I have of these and thinking how could I make it into a backpack for my 5 y.o. daughter. I will be studying your pics carefully to see how I can duplicate what you did.
