    I'll be arriving tomorrow.

I got my crocs, socks, board shorts, L.A. Kings Jersey, MAGA hat, and a Bear Grylls knife for Ray to autograph.

I'm excited to get there. Mainly because I am hungry for a real meal and crashing on my See's candy sugar high.

I can't wait to find out which crucial piece of equipment I forgot to pack.

I am curious as to what unnecessary items each will bring for pure pleasure. Mine are binoculars.

You are thinking the stage in the auditorium is that far away? I may pack some hearing aids too then...

It really is cold here. It will be fine at the event I am certain but for Banff after, I should have brought warmer boots and ski gloves.

Everyone here has been really friendly and helpful. It's beautiful here.

Oh, I forgot shower shoes. I am uncertain if there are showers at the event. Also my coat won't layer with my sweater. I'll be missing those ski gloves that I did not bring. There is snow in the mountains. The binoculars will be for exploring around after the event. I've been charged by moose before.

I have some wifi at the moment and may edit this post later.

I had a great time. I was comfortable and well accommodated. I usually made the big presentations before lunch and after dinner as well as drifting from class to class between lunch and dinner. It was great to talk with Mors one on one. Wisdom pours out of that man and he seems to never tire or show unease. I got in the way of a camera when he was being filmed. He just laughed a genuinely warm laugh. I heard some great stories from many people. Some especially good ones from @Checkmate and @YukonMusher. I learned a valuable lesson from @Joeflowers on sneaking booze onto a cruise ship. I am still out here and check in once in a while when I get wifi.
The last two nights were cold and the days were hot and mosquitoes are a constant companion. I have seen lots of moose and heard wolves howling last night. I have been bathing well using a bandana, soap, and a coffee can to heat up water from a creek. The bathing is memorable and fun and I sleep better. I use my binoculars to see wildlife when I can and last night I had a great view of a full moon.

I think people exaggerate when they say "If you don't like the weather in "xxxxxxx" wait fifteen minutes and it will change.". It appears to be more true up here.

    Everyday it has rained hard.
    Everyday it rained lightly.
Everyday it was sunny and clear.

Everyday has been beautiful. I am grateful to be here. I have not found a wool blanket just yet but I have some Canadian trinkets to bring home including a free mini bible from a Salvation Army shop that has a maple leaf on it. I also have a Rangers scarf. I assume that they are a hockey team.

That's it for now. I will post more about the various presentations and stories later. The grizzly bear attack story on the last night was a good one.
