Ok, I know this is a little silly.....but I am REALLY particular about the gloves I use when out.
My favorites , Hatch Operator shorties, are now DQ`d...really bummed.

So looking for an assist. I want a pair of leather palm, tactile (which probably means tactical type) no velcro at the wrist if possible, non-plastic knuckle gloves.....that i can get in small.

I love the OR Overloard Short gloves....but $150?

Most of the time I wear a pair of leather work gloves. When the snow is flying I generally am wearing a pair of mittens with Thinsulate liners. Nothing too exciting.

I would like a pair of Hestra gloves with some winter liners though.

Discontinued? If that's the case, grab a couple sets from Galls while they have them.

Look around at Midwest Gloves. Made in USA, main spot is in Missouri. I found a pair that I really like, and was uniquely suited for my use, at a Walmart. Padded leather palms, synthetic stretchy back, and a flannel face/sweat wipe above the thumb.

I like the goat skin Petzl Cordex and Cordex Plus Belay gloves for <$40. Unfortunately, they do have Velcro wrists, but I just fix it in loose position and put an extra section of loop Velco to cover the exposed hook section so it doesn't snag stuff. There are also other good options in the rock climbing / belay glove arena.
