It seems like several of use have been bitten by the GEC bug lately. Let's see what you've got. Here is my first. I have another one the way. 20190626_110630.jpg

That's the best thing I've seen in a folder in a while. Lol.
Gonna have to track one down. They're sold out on the handful of sites I checked.

Couple of Lionsteels slipped in here. But the GEC’s are new for me. My favorite probably has to be the Dixie Possum Skinner (Top).

I was also lucky enough to snag a new #93 in Blue Camel Bone & an Oily Creek from (Olde Towne Cutlery) before they sold out. I Will post a pic one they come in.

I've been eyeballin those #97 Allegheny big coke bottle single blades. They look sweet. If anybody has one throw up some pics. I'm too short on funds at the moment or I would get one. They remind me of my grandpa's big single blade Barlow he left me when he passed.

My one and only (so far ) GEC...#71 Bull Nose in natural canvas micarta. Both when it was new, and with it's current onion damascus.

Yeah, thanks! It's lighter in person now after about a year, but it looks great and has kept rust at bay. Super easy...stab into onion, and leave it for a while. I think I left it for a few hours or so.

No doubt these F&F’s look better with more use. A knife with a blade & micarta patina is a thing of beauty imo. :dblthumb:

My Farm and Field Tool in 01 which is carried and used a lot. I was waiting for GEC to have another run of the Moose pattern. I wanted a Moose because Nessmuk featured the pattern as part of his original trio of cutting tools. So when they offered it I picked up a stag handled knife for a traditional example.

These are my favorites. One of these is always in my pocket. The third one down, a #77 American Jack and the Ole’ Yeller Farm and Field Tool are both in sunbrite acrylic and glow in the dark.

You're nuts. I'm an early and eager adopter of GEC, but slow down. Take a look at what's available to get an idea of what's out there. Let your tastes develop naturally instead of falling in lust with everything that comes out the factory.
