I'm sure he didn't mean ones that weren't appealing to him. There are quite a few of those for me. Doesn't mean I don't appreciate them, they just aren't my thing. Still, there are quite a few that are really appealing design and materials wise that are. And ones that really fit me or are appealing I wouldn't mind having one of several handle materials.
Then again, some people just like to collect them all. :)

I agree with @Wasp. Some patterns I just don’t favor. My favorite knives are built on the #77 frame. I also prefer natural scale materials. I love Osage Orange. It gets such a beautiful mellow brown when it ages. I also like bone scales. The only synthetic scales I like are in the Knifebrite Acrylic as they glow in the dark. I think for my next GEC I want ebony scales.

@SC T100 if you’re referring to the one pictured on the bottom in my photo, that’s my camping Bull Buster. It is always riding in the cargo pocket of my pants when camping. The wood is a well used and aging Osage Orange.

I have been lusting after a #77 Washington Jack in ebony. I’ve seen one or two pop up for sale but always when I lack the funds to dive on it.

This Bullnose is my only GEC, got it in a trade from @Youcantreadinthedark. Will likely be my only one, given the prices they command, but what a great knife. It just begs to be used, locks up tight, holds an edge. It has become my go-to, hard use pocket knife. I cut alot of food with it too, so every once in a while it gets a spa day and cleans up great. 0628191830.jpg
Someday I'd like to get the Calf Pen model for my brother, he has always been intrigued by the "one armed man/straight razor" type blade.

I've never had a white bone before, much less long enough to know about the patina on the bone. I'm excited to see it develop some character.
I bought this on a few months back with reward points from DLT. I had the other Pemberton in white bone but sold it to buy another model. This one is smooth and premium f&f.

I don't even have a GEC yet but now I have a #48 Improved Trapper with Antique Amber Bone being shipped out to me today. This will have to do me for awhile till they come out with some patterns that I like. I'd like to see them come out with a mini #48 because I like that size and even a Barlow would be very nice.

I've only got these two GEC folders. The lock back is green micarta, I carry it on and off particularly when I want something slim. The osage folder I have not used yet. I'm trying to build an osage handled knife set: a folder, a lock back folder, and 2 sizes of sheath knives. I've got everything covered except the osage handled locking folder. SO if you have a osage locking folder you would be willing to let go of, I would be very appreciative of the opportunity to buy it from you.
