If you could have any firearm just for grins and giggles What would it be?
For me it would be a Ruger number 1 in .416 Rigby.
Why? Jusy cause it sounds and would look cool.
Down side 10 bucks every time it goes bang.
    We can only dream.

A lever action. Almost doesn't matter the make or the caliber. They just look like so much fun to shoot.

For a rifle, probably a US Springfield Armory Model 1899 Krag-Jorgensen Cavalry Carbine.

For a pistol, probable a FB VIS P35 Radom pre Nazi waffen stamped. That or a vintage SIG P210.

    For a revolver, probably a Webley–Fosbery self-cocking automatic revolver.

I have wanted a biathlon rifle for decades, but I’ve never gone any further than that with one, and at the four grand or so one represents today unless I hit the lottery I’ll never own one.

I would like to see Ruger build a revolver rifle double action that shifts the cylinder forward against the barrel while firing eliminating the flash between cylinder and barrel rather than a flash guard that only partially shields the flash and does nothing to seal the difference and loss cylinder to barrel .
I know that it is asking a lot, but this is dreaming right?
Oh and starting wit .17 HMR of course .

I always thought a minigun on the side of a chopper would be a hell of a lot of fun to shoot.

For sheer weirdness it would be one of those 28 gauge revolving shotguns they made a few of years ago. If it was something to make me happy when I carried it I would go with a Dakota Model 10 in 50 special.

I've got the dies, shells and 300gr solids...I just don't have a rifle that'll shoot 'em anymore. I used to have a Colt Sauer Grand Alaskan and a Ruger No. 1. But alas..."used to". :(

Now the only thing I don't have is $100,000 for the Express.

A Barrett Model 82A1 50BMG would be fun, provided it came with a bottomless supply of ammo and a 2,000 yd range to play on. :)

If it was a revolver, I'd want a 3" barreled stainless Ruger Speed Six, .357 magnum.
Pistol would be a top of the line stainless 1911, Commander sized.
Rifle would be a like-new Marlin Texan levergun, 30-30.
Shotguns, I have covered, but I'd like a sweet double in 20 or 28 gauge.

For real guns it would be an American 180.

For dreaming, it would be a phased plasma rifle in a 40 watt range.

I’m kinda digging my Remington TAC14 for a giggle gun. It’s hard not to giggle when your shooting it. My speed steel 10/22 is also a ton of fun though too. Hard to decide

any 12 bore rifle, either single or double. along with reloading items, and brass and moulds etc.

    or

    A quigley 45 / 120 sharps clone.

    or

Another Doug Turnbull 1886 with his case hardening in 50 Alaskan.

Wouldn't mind a very costume 338 lapua bolt gun that I have on paper design, but I have that base covered so it's in the nice, but not hoped for category.

There was a fellow down to Birmingham area that was making blackhawks into very large bore hand cannons with octagonal barrels and reduced to 5 round cylinders but another just for fun, not practical or likely to be used gun there. Something like a 500 S*W or 375 Linbaugh etc.

Would kinda like to have a winchester high wall to play around with. Maybe two, one in .22 hornet, and one in a heavy hitter.

Have a Barret, and it's mostly put back to be my big gun if I ever get my sail boat and take off to the virgin islands on a long term cruse. outside military, pirates would not worry me with that available.
