image.jpg image.jpg so I bought this griswald Dutch oven the other day at a antique store for 40$ but it doesn’t have the hanger ? Does anyone have ideas on how to make one or remedy this problem ? It’s a great bit of gear but I want to use it

Yeah, a length of chain and a couple S hooks from a broken rubber bungee.
Everyone besides me saves those S hooks, right? ;)

the wire they use to make political signs would work well for that.

Are you asking about the handle (bale)(bail) LOL? Hardware store steel rod is readily available. I would do 1/8 or a bit larger if they have it.

Couple o' steel S hooks and a small gauge steel chain. Crimp the chain end of the S hook closed so they can't get separated. Use the largest S hook that'll fit nicely.

Also, get a Lodge lid stand to put under it to use in the fire or with coals, without hanging.

Or, install a couple Chain quicklinks in the holes and attach anything that'll hold the weight.
