I figger since we have a Knife Pics thread, and an Axe/Saw Pics thread, why not a Gun Pics topic?

I realize a lot of you probably don't want to post pics of your guns online for all to see, in one place.

But no need to post pics of your entire collection, or of high dollar guns! Honest, working beaters are loved by all!

Post your gun pics here if you wish! Modifications to your guns are optional:cool:

Is that an m1950 weapons case behind your AR? :D

Kinda cool to see one of these w/out the forward assist. Thats old school for sure!

Yup, that's my great-grandpa's gun that is now mine:)
Handed down through three generations...when I got it, it wouldn't throw a pattern worth a damn. Shot always landed five feet low and to the left.

So recently I decided to give her a revamp...out came the angle grinder:eek: and an old girl became young again!

    Jeff,
    How does that Barrett kick?
I've always wanted to try one of those but the price of the ammo and fear of the kick scared me off it:eek:

Yep m1950 case, my buddy gave it to me for the AR in the pic. Nice case, don't use it much though.

The Barrett .50 is more of a big shove than a kick. My 18" .308 kicks harder than the .50 did. I could shoot all day...except for the $5 per shot it costs.

If I had the money I would at least buy a 50. upper for an Ar.

Come on over Brother. At least for now we can still keep a decent selection. If any of our overseas brothers ever do make over for a visit, my gun locker is open for business. Nothing I would like better than to blow thru a few thousand rounds with some of you.

That was a Canadian Longbranch 1943. Great rifle. I ended up trading it for an M1A1 Carbine stock.

When I moved back to Brazil I had to reduce my US gun storage footprint and the trade killed two birds with one stone. I do miss that rifle, the best military bolt action ever made IMO. Mac

ETA - I used to be big into horse trading milsurp rifles. I had $85 into the Enfield, and picked up the GI M1 Carbine for $150 (!), so now I have only $235 into the M1A1 and I'm a happy camper. That's what I get for watching Band of Brothers. I blame it all on Tom Hanks.

This is a 1772 Charleville musket that my kin aquired from the french durring a little tussle with the brittish. In 1820 the barrel was rifled and in 1857 it was converted from flint to precussion prior to being employeed in the early to mid 1860's. It was given to me By my uncle about 10yrs ago. The lockwork is fully functional and there is still a charge and ball down the pipe.

This is my normal hunting rifle. It is a Remington 700 stainless synthetic in 270 win. The scope is a Ziess Conquest 3-9X40. It has had a complete trigger and action job, as well as being bedded.
