IINM ALL transactions come with a return policy as they are federally regulated... You can look it over and decide... IF your concerned stipulate before hand with seller. You may have shipping costs. BUT you say yea or nae.

Made a change to my RAR Predator in 308 tonight, for no other reason than I could...

The new magpul stock is way nicer than I expected. Yes it is heavier than the factory but it's still got a great balance to it and was worth every penny.

I have about 7 MAG-PUL stocks in a number of different firearms and everyone has improved ergo's of that firearm. Ergonomically and purpose driven, they are great. Looks from a tactical perspective, well thought out. I wanted one for my RARR 300 when they first said it was gonna be made. I still like the idea, but hesitate mostly cause I don't wanna fudge with a good thing. I mean, this lil 400$ gun shoots 1/2MOA!!

I am interested to read your findings in any accuracy changes.

The Ruger RAR is a great platform. Out of the box the 7.62x39 and 5.56 are holes touching accurate at 100Y, even with steel cases fmj/HP. Lightweight and durable (truck or tub durable).

The Ruger precision rifle uses the same receiver design. The 6mm and 6.5 creedmore are super accurate at 300Y with factory loads.

All metal other than the polymer grips for most. The tip up barrel and hefty slide pull are unique to the design!

Same with mine. What’s not to like with a rifle that shoots steel case HP’s in bug hole groups even after a bunch of rounds down range. Plus it’s threaded and uses mini-30 mags. Checks all the boxes.

LOVE that stock! Bright orange but pad is cool too, never seen one that color. You'd never Jay that down in he woods and loose it, Fer sure!

But that's taking "ghost ring" peep sights just a bit far isn't it? :p

You could mail that one to me, and I'd take a pic of it with my buddies 686 for you... ;)

    @08H3 @Cwlongshot
You guys are killing me with the RAR pics and targets.

Be another full month before I have the $$ on hand to go pick up the one I want... (Predator, left handed in 6.5 Creedmoor ) :(

But it sure is encouraging to see, too! :)

Played with my 43 today, 70-80 rounds at 10 yards. I got a bit overconfident and ended up dropping 12 rounds.

I also played with these. I only put 25 rounds through the 92 compact. I got the thing months ago and only just shot it today but despite the stubby grip I think I'll probably keep it. The M9-22 comes with plastic sights that I really need to replace.

Shot my personal best NRA High Power match this weekend with a 492/500 Agg.-15X
100 Yard Reduced Range, 50-Shot Match.

Slow fire prone stage, 20 shots, dropped one in the 9-ring.

A pawn shop near me had a sale, everything that had been in the store at least 6 months was 50% off. The pump is a Mossberg 835. It's rough cosmetically, the stock is cracked to the point that it's not worth fixing (Mossberg stocks are cheap so that doesn't take much) and it's dirty so the action is sluggish. And the choke tube is missing. I have a black polymer stock for it so I just need a matching for end for the longer action tube on these older 835's. Havlin has them for $22. The price tag was marked down to $150 so I offered $125 and they accepted. The Little single is a 20ga H&R Pardner that was marked down to $75. It's also dinged up a little bit on the outside and the butt pad is hard but I think I'll put this one in a synthetic stock.

This is the 835 I picked up the other day. Swapped on some polymer furniture I had laying around for it and took it apart and cleaned all the gook out. Action cycles a lot smoother now. It looks like it lived somewhere dusty but didn't get shot a ton. Probably either in a farm truck or shop for pest control.

After not having one for over 30 years I got serious about finding one to shoot. A good condition Universal Third Generation M1 joined the fold.

A guy at work was dumping a bunch of stuff and he sold me this WASR 10/63 for $425, came with a bunch of mags (mostly crapco but I'm not complaining) and about 400 rounds of ammo.

On one of mine I took a small triangle file and opened up the rear notch just a bit. I didn't go all the way down, just knocked the corners off the top of the notch. I like that a lot.

I opened up the square notch on my Henry .22, but on AK's and SKS's the sights plays havoc with my eyes because the rear is so far down the barrel.
