Four kids so far...that's more than the last ten year's total when I lived in Idaho.

That's what we did for the years we didn't get any visitors. This year the lights are on and I will have enough Snickers left over to donate to charity.

    Happy Halloween!
We live in town. Decorate weeks in advance and I bet we hit 100 this year. Usually we are over 200. Must be the rain.

We had about 50 IMG_5597.JPG kids less than last year. After what the wife and I sucked down there's about 45 bags left so I'll have to decide either to put them back in the freezer again for next year or use them for 45 more PSKs.

No kids here, to dark and out of the way. The landlord went off with the fireworks (pun intended) this year. It sounded like artillery for more than a hour.

The older my kid gets the longer we stay trick or treating the less time we spend giving out candy. Our house would normally see around 100+ kids. But this year I was only home to see about 30 or so. Next year will probably be less. But I will still sit in front of my house with a cigar and fire for two hours. Just because.

Our daughters have grown and flew the nest so we don't decorate anymore.
We haven't had any kids stop by for several years. I still buy candy "just in case" though...I'd hate to have kids come and not have any for them.

That's why my porch light stays off. My driveway is long and steep with no lighting so they almost never come down the driveway anyway, they skip my house so we stopped doing it

Same here! We used to go ALL OUT on decorations and special effects! Had visitors from nearby towns come to see and video the whole shebang, dressed up and stayed outside the entire night, maybe 200 kids and 7 or 8 bags of candy! Kids grew up, things change lost interest so the last 2 yrs 3 bags of candy and I often bring 2 bags to work the next day. Most kids off the street by dark! Things have changed.

Finished up the night with a total of six kids...seven if you count the kid who got cold and let his brother go door to door to Trick or Treat for him. The brother also had his own container.

I enjoy Halloween. I get to have fun with stuff...

We had about 40 kids this year. Huge improvement over the 3 or four last year.

I enjoy it when they get excited about it, not just going through the motions.

We had three teenagers show up not even in costumes.

Boy One presented his skateboard and proclaimed “I’m a skater”...

For which he received a fist full of candies.

Boy Two flourished his basketball around and proclaimed “I’m a basketball player “...

For which he received a fist full of candies.

    Boy Three had nothing..

He smiled huge and proclaimed “I’m a poser”

For which he received three fists fulls of candies.

They looked so happy to receive anything at all. So my wife gave them more.

    Thanks,

    Jarrod
