It's great that he's wearing the SMASH! t-shirt while doing his gear testing. :18:

Here is a pic from last bow season 2016. After sitting in a hunting blind for five hours on a morning hunt it was nice to sit down and stretch the legs with a nice hot cup of coffee.
    IMG_2348.JPG
And later on in the season for a muzzleloader hunt inside a Centerline carrier strapped to my Kifaru E&E.

    So, Educate me.

The Ti (tanium) is food inert like stainless? Leaving no bad taste or bad stuff like plastic or aluminum?

Fire safe, minus the top. Pretty bomb proof. Even the metal top looks way solid.

Considerably lighter than its stainless counterpart.
But 32oz of water still weighs two pounds.

    What am I missing?
    Besides the obvious cool factor.

I've been a voice of "who would spend that much for a titanium canteen?" for a while now. Well a random search on eBay for a new Maxpedition pouch netted me this deal:

    Screenshot_20170605-210237.png

I don't know if I need it, but I feel like it was too good of a deal to pass up. Can't wait to post some action shots with you guys.

No power, no problems! Just eat all the ice cream, and dump all the ice in your canteen!

I can't help but continually admire the dedication you HC owners have to cooking over fire with your gear. IMO you're neck and neck with the WSK guys for getting out there and using the heck out of your gear. Great job, and keep posting.................I read every post. :)

IA Woodsman ok I'm in the market for an upgrade. Been using a GI older cup with stove and issue canteen for years. But really want to up grade. Initially looked at Pathfinder Canteen Cook Set, which I think is a solid piece of kit. Then I came across the videos of comparative talks with the Heavy Cover Titanium Kit. It looks really good and I know the wait is less but man the price is about 3x what the Pathfinder is. Woodsman is the weight the big thing because that's what I'm seeeing. What else is the selling point. I'm not apposed to spending the money, just ask my wife I will drop some cash in a heart beat for gear.
