Yes. Thats what I said $$12.00. I found it on Ebay and the maker is only 60 miles from me. I ordered it yesterday and received it today. He makes his sheaths from genuine bridle leather and they are beautiful.
I ordered the sheath # 1013 and it fits my Schrade schf9 like a glove.
This guy will make a sheath for any knife and the price is CHEAP. Here is his Ebay store. He is from Odin,Illinois.

Thanks. The seller was asking $10.95 for the sheath and had a "Make offer" on Ebay. I offered $9.00 and he accepted. So, with the $3.00 shipping, total was $12.00.
You would think the leather alone would cost $12.00.

I just ordered one for my marble's ideal. We'll have to do a mini review on these when they come in. :)

If I had a guy making sheaths like that so close to me.... I'd be overloaded with sheaths. Just to have some around. :)

I was amazed at the quality for only $12.00. I was expecting a cheaper, thinner leather. When I oped the package, I could smell the good quality of the leather.

When I slid my Schrade schf9 into the sheath, it fit like a glove. I grabbed my bottle of Mink oil gave it a few coats.

I bought another sheath. This one is for my Mora black. It fits the Mora nicely. Not quiet "like a glove" but it works well. It was a little tight for the handle at the opening but I pushed the knife all the way in and put Mink oil on the sheath and let it sit overnight to relax the leather. Worked great. This is sheath #1041 on this website. Cost is $13.95 shipped.

These sheaths are NOT mass produced. They are hand made in Southern Illinois. You can contact the seller and he'll make you a custom sheath from genuine bridal leather. Seller has 100% feedback on Ebay and ships the same day in most cases. You can contact seller at:

Thanks. I have two of these sheaths so far. Going to order another one today for my Schrade schf36. The quality of these sheaths are awesome and so inexpensive. My wife said, "Are you ordering another sheath? You already have TWO". I said, "But hunny.... they're real leather". lol

This is such a great deal it almost makes me want to give up making my own.
Unbelievable prices for what appears to be a quality product, with reviews to back it up.

No frills, just a excellent sheath for the money.I have about 6 of them, and probably will have many more.If you read his measurements and measure your knife carefully they usually fit very well.I have a couple of his that will fit 4or 5 of my knives. But for his price you may as well have one for each knife.Ships quick too.

Is there somewhere a list or something that has the models and the sizes so you can find the right sheath easily?

Ordered one to hopefully replace the abomination that came with the Bark River Fox River. We will see. If it doesn't fit it right, I am sure I have something it will fit.

Arrived today. Looks great! Fits the Bark River Fox River nice and snug (unlike the one it comes with).

The one I ordered was #1020

I just received another #1013 sheath a few days ago for my Schrade schf36 and it fits great. The schf36 is shorter than the schf9 and only about 2 inches of the handle sticks out of the sheath but thats the way I like it.

These sheaths are fairly precision made. I have several and just had two more come in. One was for a thinner blade knife and one for a wider blade. I ordered the sheaths accordingly .they were both the same length and one was just a bit wider. Just like they were supposed to be.

Awesome sheaths and I think imI going to go and order some more now. :)

You can also contact the maker for help with ordering. I chatted with him/them about a possible order. On eBay I just asked if there was a sheath for a knife with specific dimensions. The response was quick. Just figured I'd post this in response to the questions about what size sheath to buy.
