How's it going. I live in the North Island of New Zealand, I'm a mad keen hunter, have been most of my life. I like to practice bush craft survival as well. The only thing that can kill us here is the weather, there is nothing poisonous and we have no dangerous predators. So shelter building and fire are probably the two most critical things to get right in NZ. There is generally no shortage of food if you know how to find it. We are in the middle of our Summer right now, I don't go out in the bush as often during Summer as I don't like the heat very much, I'm more of a Spring/Autumn and Winter guy. Usually in Summer I am pretty busy with firewood, completing projects on my property etc. I enjoy seeing how others do things differently, especially foreign lands.
