1. Due to the amount of SPAM from foreign countries lately, we have made the decision to manually approve all new members. While we regret that this must be done and the added time that it will take for new members to be approved, it is necessary at this time. We hope to have legitimate new members approved in a timely manner, no longer than a couple of hours. If the Administrators are online at the time, it can be as soon as a couple of minutes. Thank you for your patience.

OK wondering if anyone posts videos or photos from youtube or Instagram or flickr more easily and faster than directly from phone/ computer.

Yes, it seems faster to me. @Guy may need to validate but if the photo/video is already on the web, it's just a link to it. Uploading from your phone requires uploading, saving, indexing and then linking.

I have tried to get a response on how to upload pics already on my PC like I did before the format change. No responses as of yet. All I find is where to go on the net. I don't store pics on the net.

    1. Click on Upload File
    2. Click on Libraries
    3. Click the folder your pic is in
    4. Click on the pic(s) you want to upload

I used photobucket in the past, but it has gotten so slow and advertisement bloated that now I find it much faster to upload directly to the forum. YMMV.

I usually upload one pic at a time, and only do 3 in one post cause it takes so long from my computer or phone. It's so much faster to go from my phone to instagram or flickr or you tube

What are the file size limits for uploading photos directly from library? I've tried a few times only to get a message saying the file is too big.

@Followingariver Not sure about file sizes but my pics seem to go through, slowly... but I haven't been able to upload short videos. Faster uploads if I'm at work. The other thing that is saving me time is to put all the pics I want to share in a folder on my desktop, and do a batch upload. Iphoto doesn't have to open everything that way.

I figured out if you do a batch by selecting with command held down, and then wait for them all to upload, 10 maximum. Then as you type out you post and want to share a pic with it push one of the buttons, like full image for the pic u want to share. Keep writing and repeat.

    Hope this helps someone.

Also tried with flickr, that didn't flow right for me, I ended up with a link, but no pic... Perhaps I didn't do it right though.

However, I was able to post video nicely via youtube.

Often tablets or phones don't give the image Url to be copied from some hosting sites , or is the device sometimes, like my tablet will work with flicker but not with photo bucket
