I haven't really been on the forum much the last year, just been too busy! I've spent a lot of time over the last year refining my axe making process. Here's a couple pics of what I have to offer in the way of axes. The smallest, "the Kephart" is forged to the same dimensions Kephart outlines in his book for his favorite little "tomahawk", 2 1/2" blade weighing approx. 15 oz. and an 11" hickory handle. The medium sized hatchet, "the Cruiser" weighs 1.5 lbs. with a 12" handle and 3 1/2" cutting edge. The Homesteader is my largest axe with a 2.25 lb. weight, 4" bit, and 24" handle, designed for heavier work. Each comes with a hand stitched leather sheath. Custom orders are always welcome as well!
