    Hello form Charleston,

I really enjoy this site. I have learned a good bit from this site, and have made a few of my own items that I have gotten inspiration from others. My main reason for this post is to find a spot around the mid-state area to do a little backwoods camping/ Bushcrafting with my brother and two other friends. The more in the middle of no ware the better. We all have Jeeps that can take us about anywhere so getting to a remote site is not a problem. We all have the pack in pack out attitude because I can't stand someone who is so lazy that they can't wait to throw trash away in the proper receptacle. So if you know of a spot that is public or a spot on private land that we can have permission to be on would be outstanding. I am open to all options. I am always looking to make new, like minded friends.

    Thanks,
    Torry

I have backpacked some of the Chattooga River in the Sumter National Forest near Walhalla I like the area. What part of the Chattooga River is it at?
