After a year of going without wearing them due to an ingrown nail that went bad, I slipped back into my Danner Explorers. I had been able to wear some others, and I touched it out in my Redwing steel toe boots at work longer than I should have, but these boots were a no-go with the bad toe.

These boots have been everywhere with me over the last 4 years and are in my all time top 3 boots ever category.

    Today was a good day.

I wear my work boots every day.
On some vacations, of course I dont. So after just a couple weeks, it really does feel good to get back in 'em.

In your case, I'm sure it would be quite a thing after that long!

I wear boots for work also, but these were my everywhere but work footwear. When I started having toe problems, these became painful and I wore mostly loafers when not working, and a pac boot when cold weather boots were needed.

These boots fit me well, and were my first and only pair of Danner’s. I’ve come to appreciate a good pair of loafers and won’t be giving them up, but I am very happy to get these back into the lineup again!

Sometimes it’s the simple things that can brighten ones outlook.

It wasn’t pleasant. And it was made worse by me being stubborn. Throughout my life I’ve seldom gone to the Dr. Now that I’m in my mid 40’s I’m slowly conceding that some things won’t go away on there own and require medical attention and modern medicine.

I just turned 40 and my knees know it for sure. Can't trust the left, day after a good hike.
I cut the tendon in my left index finger few years back. Will never full go straight anymore. Not only down a hand. But super sensitive to a touch or bump. Because of the way they had to put it together. (Spare u those details) The day they removed it all I could not have been happier to get my hand back!
    Cheers Jim
