Stopped by to see my friends at JB Knife and Tool today to pick a new knife they made for me. Together with a few elements from my current favorite knives and Brian and John putting a couple of their own ideas in, the JB Knife Woods-1 is born.

4" blade in 1/8" O1 steel with a 4" tapered handle done with green micarta and orange liners. Stainless pins and lanyard tube complete the package. They knocked it out of the park with this one. I'm absolutely thrilled. The slight contour of the handle melts into my hand.

Look for the Woods-2 to be available soon which will be a slightly larger version.

I'm not sure if the guys have settled on a retail price for these yet but they will come with a very streamlined belt/dangler sheath from Badger Claw Leatherworks :)

If you like the looks of this, and I guarantee you'll like the feel and performance, contact them and get an order in soon.

Thanks again guys for making this project come to life!

Glade you like it buddy! Thanks so much for the kind words.
Stubbs and I will settle on a price for these later today when we get back in the shop. Somewhere in the 160-170 range depending on options :)

Take that knife, add an inch to the blade and a half inch to the handle. Also drop the blade edge down to the level of the finger guard so it's slightly taller and in my opinion you would have a winner.

Nice job guys it looks smooth, love the lines!

Pretty sexy, but I need one of their folders first. How much larger will the woods 2 be?
