Hey Folks! Well its time for an upgrade! Stubbs and i are moving to a bigger shop. :) Previously Stubbs was working out of a small corner of his garage and i was working in a small shed that was also a well house on my property and we had greatly out grown both areas. We would meet at the office (day job) and swap parts to be worked on. This process was horribly inefficient so we started looking for a shop that was close to the day job. A good friend of ours talked us in to buying a portable shed and putting it behind his business, that is only 5 min from the office. The plan now is to meet in the mornings, work a few hours before the day job and then go to work :) So for those interested we will be posting pictures of the build process for you to follow along with and feel free to chime in!

Thanks for the support everyone, we wouldn't have made it to this point with out you :)

Hey Brian, I've been looking into something like this for the back yard, mind PMing me dims and where your cost is currently at on this? Wife and I would need to discuss the finances.

If it were mine, I wouldn't be using drywall in a shop. Seems it would be too easily damaged. and groove would be a morey.

Sweet shop. Would be nice to have that size shop though. My current shop is an 10x8 tin shed that I've got crammed full of stuff.

We kicked around ideas of different wall materials but ultimately went with fire resistance with the forge, grinders, and heat treat oven :)

    Thanks everyone for following along.

ok this post is WAY overdue!! so the shop is finished ..sort of..and we brought most of the stuff from our separate shops here to one shop. And now the place is a wreck lol. We had a big order for some folders and tried to work on these and move into the shop all at the same time, the result is a very unorganized shop, but we are getting some down time and slowly figuring out the work-flow with both of us in the shop. So its still a work in progress but its getting there :)
