My new Ka-Bar Parang
That looks ready for some fun. Go get it dirty!
I didn't even know they made a parang, nice score.
Its a modified Ka-Bar Swabbie. One of those goofy looking zombie blades. Except its 1095 cro-van steel, .25" thick. Made in USA.
I Ground off all the point crap.
Nice mods, turning a zombie killer into something a bit more practical.
I would have kept the tip pointed, but other than that your mod is awesome!
Turned out great.
How does it chop?
How deep did it chop before and after ?
Chops great... I only bought it with the idea to modify it into a parang soon as I got it
Turned out better than I thought
The pointy tip was real thin, kinda dangerous too, easy to poke yourself. The tip was warped alittle to one side from the heat treat
1/4 inch thick
Another Guys pic same mod
What mods did you do?
