Are these good in warmer climates? I have a pair of mostly wool socks (I forgot the percentage) but I don't wear shoes normally (that's Hawaii for you lol) but I figure for my wife and kids.

Yes. I wear them with steel toed work boots in warm/hot weather. They are supporting, shock absorbing and sweat wicking. Plus, they don't add to the funk.
I have won them hiking in 80*+ weather with my bates desert combat boots, great support, etc.
I don't think they will look great with sandals or crocs though...

I've been wearing these for a few years. They keep my feet dry and warm in winter, and soak up sweat in the summer. They are good value.

Whenever a family member or friend complains about getting cold feet working outside in the winter, I make a pilgrimage to Costco to buy them a pack of these socks.

Just a heads up, the 6 pack sold online is cheaper per pair than the 4 pack sold in store.

Thanks for the heads up on these! I've been needing some more wool socks so I'll order me a couple of packs of these.

They don't sell them on the Canadian on-line store, and the US site won't let me order. Grr

Ordered me a couple of packs. Now I need a decent pair of waterproof boot besides my Mucks. The mucks are great if it's super cold but otherwise my feet sweat too bad in them and I end up with wet feet.

Any good budget insulated boots you guys could recommend that my feet won't get wet in from simply walking across dew covered grass???
I love my Wolverine pull on boots (non insulated) but they soak up water like a sponge!

Sandals and crocs just always look ugly lol. We don't wear those much here (unless you weren't from here or lived here long enough to realize) we wear slippahs (flip flops to you folks) lol!

    Thanks for the info.

Mine showed up today, solid deal for the price. IF I blow through a couple pairs this winter no big loss.

I will add, after wearing a pair today in a office setting these socks will not last long. They are worth the 2.83 per pair but after 10 hours of wear , the worn spots, the pilling would indicate these are light duty for sure.

I am still wearing these every day, most days with steel toe work boots. No holes, tears, thin spots, etc. Some light piling, but it doesnt affect comfort at all. These have held up better than my duluth trading socks, working in similar conditions.
Great socks. Will buy more. Still have a new pack on the shelf.

It's probably a good idea to stockpile some. It seems whenever I find something excellent at Costco, they discontinue the item leaving me hanging.

Tim, if you don't need insulation, my favorite waterproof, ankle-high leather boots have been Hi Tec Altitude IV. they're very comfortable, waterproof, really durable, come in three colors and wide sizes.

I just replaced a pair I've had for 15 years that's beat to heck but still waterproof. -- https://www.amazon.com/Hi-Tec-Altitude-Waterproof-Hiking-Chocolate/dp/B000RUF3H8/ref=sr_1_4_mimg_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1520950952&sr=8-4&keywords=hi-tec+men's+altitude+iv+hiking+boot&th=1

I believe they only stock them in the winter. They may have put them away for the summer. They don't realize that some of us wear these all summer.

Thanks brother, that's a nice looking boot. I hope to find something insulated but it's always good to have options.
