A shot of the Squad Leader in actual use, not just posing and looking pretty for a photoshoot
Very nice killrathi collection!
X2!! (or X3... you know what I mean)
Went from looking like something suffering from "survival syndrome" to an actual user! Well done!
An out in the wild shot, Nice!!
Oiling blades today- AA Forge Puukko’s.
The family has grown +1 since my last group shot .
That is a beautiful family you have there !!!!
Roughing out another project.
Love to see that 2 getting used.
Had time today to gather my AS Mountaineer’s for a group shot.
I use it every day, one of my favorite tools for sure.
Ever use any of your knives?
I Don’t like using my new shiny knives. They sit in a dark closet chained to a storage container, never to see the light of day!
Lol I kid, I kid!
Actually quite a few get used. Not enough days in the calendar to currently use all of them. But they will eventually get to see use.
I also have a thing for folding knives, so the use gets split up.
Two Scandi, No Waiting
(for the purposes of this post the plural of scandi is scandi)
Found this one on the Internet.
For all you Tracker guys, meet the “Multi-Tracker”
In all seriousness though, what do you guys suppose this would be good for? Can’t think of anything.
HEY! Thats MY Knife!
and a pic to keep the post legal
Did you make it??
EDIT: i now realize you did not. I was surprised for a minute there haha
Condor Terrasaur vs. Terävä Jääkäripuukko 110
BRKT Pro Scalpel 2 bumped my izula from my pocket sheath.
That is quite unique. Might make a really good door stop.
I hate to criticize someone's creativity, but I just don't understand the concept of this knife.
To each, his own though.
Haven’t used this one for any food prep until today. I want to see how well 3V resists a patina. So far so good after slicing up a lemon and a nectarine. My more basic carbon steel knives would have stained with even this basic test. I’m ok with patina, but this one seems like it will stay very clean.
How do you like the Terrasaur?
Oh, my, this just in................thanks, Jared. Love it. More later after I use it a bit.
Nice. But aren't you about due for a new sheath?
Cypress Creek Backpacker...... Jared @Outdoornut18 knocked this one out of the park!
damn near perfect knife for me.
Who made it.
Never mind, I found it.
Please tell us who made this work of art! It does look like everything about that knife is right.
Sort of looks like this maker? https://www.arizonacustomknives.com/knives-by-maker/chen-g-e.html
Bingo! I think you are correct. Thank you.
I like the design quite a bit even not knowing specs beyond steel and flat grind.
It reminds me of a Benchmade Nimravus in full flat grind.
I'm glad you found it. For anyone else that may be interested, I left a mini review in the Condor Clan group of my thoughts on it.
For me it is a winner, good ergos, good price, it is one of those knives that just feels right in my hands.
And a great picture, as well. I posted mine the other day in the coffee and knives thread, but it was nowhere as good as this pic. Great shot, sir.
The Big Dog is loose in Canada!!
Interesting to note: apparently he has switched over to 3V. Excellent knife, for sure. And a lot of knife for the money.
Is this one of the EDC forums group buys like mine is? That was a long time ago...........
yes, same maker. these are the Duty II models. I believe they're a bit bigger and maybe 3v steel. you'll like it.
The Chens listed in the link above are 3V steel, .177" stock. (I gave up on the fraction math around 11/64").
Phenomenal price considering the materials and design, at least to my knife-addled eyes.
^^^^ Shall I send you my Chen knife to play with? @Ptpalpha
Thanks, but no. I don't need the temptation.
I've already completely abandoned my commitment to downsize my sharp things.
I appreciate the offer though; thank you!
