Spyderco Dragonfly II Wharncliffe
AA Forge Puukko.
Olamic Wayfarer 24/7.
Oh I like the jeweling on that frame! Super cool.
Thank you my friend!
One cool thing about Olamic is they don’t make the same knife twice.
I believe their motto is “No two alike”?
They do some super unique stuff!
Very cool picture! Did you have to bribe that dragon fly to sit on the blade?
A good photographer never tells his secrets. Okay, okay, so he ran into the glass door last night. :/
I literally spit the tea I was drinking out my mouth when I read this! Lol!!!!
I actually had to change my shirt!
A good photographer also doesn't fail to take full advantage of a good background. Or a dead bug.
I'm not doing your laundry.
Hahaha! That's funny.
Still a good picture though.
Wow! I really like that knife.
It looks very efficient.
Thank you. Definitely going to be a work horse.
Had to get a couple more from Denn Handmade Knives (@Dennadk). They check all the boxes for me: Handmade, Small Business, Locally Produced, In-Person Service (with a smile), Heirloom Quality; the list goes on.
Those are sweet. What model and what is the steel?
The dark walnut handled one is a Tamarack and the spalted maple handled one is a Paring Knife; both in 1084 High Carbon.
You are killing me with these pics! I wonder when he will do another batch of those...
favorite park of the last two weeks
Sorry about that!
The more I use it, yep perfect small knife.
I’m sorry for the many photos, I’m having fun with this knife.
Spine shaves magnesium nice.
This one will be my EDC for quite some time I think:
Alaculsy and Little Alaculsy by Cohutta Knife Co and Diomedes Leather.
Very likely my next folder purchase.
Sporting a new clip this morning.
Anybody into glow?
CQC7 Tactical Elements Ltd. Ed.
Maybe this will be my new EDC?
A couple of 7-8 year old blades that still hold there own. On top a GSO 6 prototype in .215 3v convex ground and below a Blind Horse bushcrafter in M4. Both are pretty rare with 25-35 each ever made from what I have been told.
My modded Busse Basic 3
UK army issue clasp knives. Two and three piece. Built like tanks.
Curious to hear what you think of it after carrying/using it for awhile. I'm interested in a Salt model and this one looks great.
Those are a couple of classics! Very cool old knives.
I noticed the knife on the top, has a bit of the tip exposed, while in the closed position. You may not want to alter the knife in any way. If you don't mind a slight alteration, you can file the pointy protrusion (I think it is called the "nick") at the base of the blade. This will allow the blade tip to sit down in the handle a bit more, without having to re-profile. It doesn't take much filing either!
An old timer told me this trick a long time ago.
Or just leave it alone and enjoy a good old knife with some character.
Actually its called the kick on a slip joint knife. Thanks, but I'll not remove metal from it.
