Understood. I really like these two knives of yours! Is that a flat head screw driver tip, near the blade pivot? Very clever design.
Any idea how old they are?
Terry can build a helluva knife
I will be posting some knife pics from our time at camp this week.
First off are the BK9 and SFA. These two were relied on heavily from pounding in stakes to processing wood. The BK9 was always nearby as we even had a bear situation and it seemed most appropriate of all my tools available.

Bear bite. SAK Compact to show width of the canines.
Yes. A screw diver. These were UK WW2 Army issue. Sheffield cutlers. The two piece was made by Davenport in 1944. The three piece by Needham in 1945.
D'Eskabar with homemade cherry scales and a crossdraw sheath (and apparently some cigar ash.........)
Might take this one swimming with me this morning.
^^^^ Oh, yeah..........
EDIT: seems a bit too heavy on my swim trucks.
Fortunately, I have some alternatives.
Which knife is this?

My son’s birthday presents. Jessmuk C and a fire snake steel. Him putting it to use and next to my full size Jessmuk.
So great to see the kiddo enjoying an awesome knife from an obviously awesome Dad!
CCK Backpacker. Probably my most handy blade all week at camp. Worn on my neck all day and I even slept with it on the last night by accident. Only got one pic of it, but that was because the rest of the time it was cutting veggies, bread, spreading butter, cutting sausage, opening packages, cutting cordage, etc. No signs of staining after all of that use and even though I had it under my shirt most of the time and I was sweating like crazy. I think I could have kept it on swimming and in the shower. I like this S35vn!
It’s a SET edc type of day!
Edit To Add: This is not my toy, it’s my sons lol! (Although I am a fan of SM!)
JX-5 vengeful 1 finally getting at some featherstick curls. I’ve been wanting one of this knives since the day it came out!
I really like that. Maker?
I like the looks of his handless knives. Id love to try a backpacker if I thought it would fit my hand.
Pm me your address if you would like to find out.

Finnish and Norwegian.
Heck yes! Love my Backpacker. Rides in my pocket every day and just disappears behind my wallet! Adds virtually NO WEIGHT to me EDC!
Same here; it's a winner of a design. Can't wait to see Jared's XL version.
Put the Serechete through a workout at camp. I wasn’t expecting much in the way of its ability to baton well, but it really surprised me. It worked well up to about 4-5” rounds. I don’t tend to baton much bigger than that, unless to slowly take chunks off. The length worked well and despite it being thin it split well. No edge damage. This pile was just some of the total amount split.
My BK15 with a godspeed kydex sheath. On a hike up the Dungeness River a while back. One of my favorite places.
XL version?? Gonna have to keep my eyes open!!
One of my favorite streams. Nice knife and sheath too.
