Awesome knife! I’m always late when they pop up! One day the stars will Aline
Outstanding knife! Scott has been making them often so you will get one soon.
Large Case Trapper at work.
edit: forgot to upload picture...da!
You'll have to forgive me,I'm old. Now here is my large Case Trapper at work today.
Nice knife, @Wil.
I've seen you posting that one around in a few threads... sure is a looker... great steel, too.
So I've posted this before, but maybe worth another look?
I like your style! That’s a beauty.
Thank you sir ! Hopefully next time I post it will be an in use pic !
Can’t stop using that TRC little devil... or as they call it Speed Demon
My newest blade, the Jeff White "Camp King"with curly maple handles
Couple of hard edged brothers:
I need to pick myself up another JW. One of the many bad knife selling decisions I made.
By the way, does anyone know if Mr. White is still making these knives?
I though I read somewhere that his health was failing him?
I really hope this isn’t the case and he’s back to being 100%!
Found a pic of an earlier DIY walnut handled Mora. Its with a fellow member. Wonder what its up to?
Good stuff right there!!!! ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Another + 1, very nicely done!
Funny you should ask...
I was in the market for a JW earlier this week, posted a WTB. Forum member @Simplejack provided some info, that he's apparently stopped forging. But, he had an apprentice who is now forging and selling the old JW patterns. It was in this thread:
An old KRF from when he was a member/vendor here.
The more I look at that, the more I like it.
And for what ever it is worth...
Jeff White No Longer Making Knives?
Couple of rare birds
the vintage probably 40-50+ years old bröderna jönsson mora fits my hand the best and up until now is my grail barrel handled mora..my guess is that if mora made a model like this today it would be very popular..it is a little bit bigger than the current classic 2 and the handle shape is more balanced..
however I love all of my barrel handled moras..
Ps: please excuse my poor attempt at shamanazing my rehandled mora classic 2..I love this feature on set knives and given the fact, that I will probably never own one, had to give it a try.. not pretty but it's mine haha

What're you apologizing for? Those handles look great!
And if shamanized wasn't a word, it is now.......^^^^^^^^^^^
@trafficjuzz , the Shaman Mora is shaped soooo good. No apologies on dressing it up. I like it !
Great mail call today! A SET solutrean and sfa mask, both really awesome to me.
@Odd Fellow - I got its twin. Sweet one for sure! Congrats.
thank you all for the positive comments, the crowd here is always so supportive..
This just landed.
(Also cross posted in the Turley thread).
@blue333 killing it as always!!!
Damn brother, just...damn!
Not a Turley fan in the least but wow! Very nice. Never seen tortoise shell on a fixed blade before, but I think it works really well!
Shew wee! That's killer!
@blue333 you are way too cool sir, love the tortoise shell shades & the new blade . @ugashooter i saw your twin earlier & was beside myself waiting on mine. Well worth the wait for the extra “shaman” touch. Hope yours serves you well. Have a great evening y’all, I’m heading out back to sit with the critters.
Did someone mention Jeff White?
Thank you for the kind words my friend!
Although I don’t feel that cool. According to my x3 bambino’s they say I haven’t been cool since I was in High School! Lol!
That’s ok though, I get them back when they have their friends over.
I start throwing around all the cool words the kids say these days and they all get soooo embarrassed! It’s hilarious!!
My oldest son who is 17 gets it even worse. When his girlfriend comes over, she will get the embarrassing kid stories about him! Sometimes I’ll tag my wife in & she will bring out a baby pic or two! Lol
I will admit though, I’m so disconnected from what kids are into these days. From the games to the music. So long as my kids continue to do well in school, I’ll go along with it .
I grew up in the 80’s & I though those were the futuristic times! Lol
Kronin, I have a JW trade knife in osage that is one nice little piece.
this mouse really wanted to take a look at my knives
Finished handling this last night, very comfortable, I’m pleased. Nic Westermann clip point detail carver, wormy ash wood. I think I was on his list for right about a year...his tools are worth waiting for.
Here's one I gifted to my s-i-l in NC, but I am usually the one wielding it............. which is fine by me, as I get to partake of the fruits of its works..........
