Not a one....I know they were made in small batches and have been discussed on the forums before.

Should be easy enough considering the holes in the blade, but I’m coming up with nothing...

I know!!! I have seen a few of these on here and it was a small batch that were made. I have only seen a few of these on here awhile back....I don’t think there are many.

Exactly....smelted from a fallen meteorite and forged with Thor’s hammer......it’s kind of a big deal.

What would the holes in the blade be used for?

I’m thinking (I know, dangerous) that it is the makers design, not for a specific purpose.
    I may be wrong...

They are there so you can wear it as a bow-tie/neck knife.

Just based on shape and design, it reminds me of Dan Eastland’s work. Maybe a very early one of his??

ETA: looks like an Echo 5 except for the holes in the blade.

The handle and blade shape do resemble Dan's work but I've never seen a pommel like that by him in any of the blades I remember seeing if his. I don't think I have ever seen holes in his blades either.

I don’t think it was one of Dan’s (great maker btw). It was some web-store that was bushcraft/survival themed and if I remember correctly they had these available by a custom maker in limited supply. I keep thinking it was Lester River but I have found no proof of that.

    Some additional pics for reference...
