So I have been rater quiet as of late due to the time of year and being a retail shoe store manager, ( now I get why Al Bundy was such a dick ), I have been busy at work and with the Wife's recent injury (she is healing well, thanks) its been rough.

Anyhow, NO new orders at the moment till several current in work knives ship out! I love you guys and appreciate all the support the forum has given me, and don't take it wrong I AM NOT going ANYWHERE!, I just want to focus on the blades I need to finish and QC is more important to me than than volume or money from new orders.

If anyone needs me and is worried may not see the message here or wants to send it multiple ways, my email is

    plainsmenknives@gmail.com <

    Instagram @ 08h3 OR Plainsmen_knives <

As always if ya'll have any ? let me know via PM or here or there ^ and I will reply asap!

    Thanks
    C

I voted yes, but no skin in the game just think you both do nice work.

Have been meaning to ask if you do side stuff, like shaping a handle on something already made? I know you do SAK stuff, been toying with the idea of an old school GAK with the lefty linerlock and one handed blade off a trekker.

Anyway, not sure if what I proposed is worth your time, just been considering you for both.

    So, sorry to derail!

    I vote Yes :)

Lol thanks Joe, I think you guys will flip when they start coming together. @Blackhawk45hunter (Evan) and myself are working through the details already and I think we may be more excited about it than anyone lol.

When this happens, pictures WILL be posted in my sub forum in its own thread.

Yes, on condition you think about the total weight factor for some of your future hunting related works.
Main application for me in something I actually use and not collect, is hunting.
Evan's knife I got from you was packing more weight than I could comfortably use dressing game in the long run.
    Some food for future thought?

You both do great work and I really like the knife I got from you, so it should prove an interesting collaboration.

I think you will like this one, it's going to be pretty neutral in hand I think and at 5/32" thick with a ffg it shouldn't be bad at all weight wise.

Side note, that other lightweight big belly blade should fit the ultralight bill nicely and is on it's way to completed too... just sayin

I still use each of the knives I have from you several times a day. Even got a new camera to capture how awesome they are! :dblthumb:

I would LOVE to get my hands on anything new you make.... especially a Siembida collab.

Been meaning to send you a project of sorts. Would September be a good month to send something your way? @08H3

Okay soooooo this is the one we are considering doing together. It's a woodlore handle and pitbull blade. I'll do the blanks and handles with evan doing the grinds and edges. Sheaths will be a separate offering as to not interfere with the knife deal between me and him.

Thanks, I had that micarta laying around, didnt know what I'd put it on so here it is lol!

I plan for the rest of the production knives to get more of a coke bottle shape for sure. I actually need to thin the front of this out a bit.

Is that rag micarta? I kinda like the rough look as apposed to what I think it will look polished... but that is just me... I bet polished it will look like a polished mix of gems, whereas more rough finished it almost looks like a painting.

Thanks, I like it as is which is hand sanded to 1200 and not polished so its kinda matte finished. And its multi colored micarta but not rag.

    4" blade, sharpened edge
    4.25" handle
    5/32" steel, CPM-154

These will NOT come with a sheath at the price of $250, that's knife only. I will offer a sheath as an option separately for a additional cost separate from the knife as to not interfere with the arrangement Evan and I have. They will be offered in Natural or Black canvas micarta at the base price. If you want something different, like the sheath it will be a separate charge :dblthumb:.
