I'm not sure if any of you guys live in the Bethel area so I'll just toss this out.

Tomorrow night (2/15) at 7pm is a talk about the history of Greenwood and Woodstock with easily accessed historic locations.

Gould Academy, Mcgaughlin Hall in Bethel, 7 pm.

I'm a big fan of local history.

I'm trying to find out if this is cancelled due to weather.

I'm gonna take a leap here and say it's cancelled. I am not getting a single human on the phone. I guess everyone is staying home.

Wish I lived closer, I love that area, my fathers side of the family settled in Batchelder's Grant on the Hastings Notch road and when the WM National Forest took over the farmstead was razed and they relocated to another farmstead on the shores of Virginia lake in E.Stoneham I remember as a kid back in the 50s.
