I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this. If not, would somebody move it to the correct section?

I am looking for somebody to make me a heavy duty canteen cover to fit my HeavyCover canteen, cup, and lid. I would like to buy two of them depending on the price.

The thing is, I want it based off of a WW1 Cavalry canteen pouch. As close to looking like the one I’ve posted pictures of as possible. To where people will know it’s based off of a WW1 or WW2 canteen cover.

    - I would really like it to fit the canteen, cup, and lid in a way where I don't have to fight it to get everything in and out of it. I don't want it too loose, or too tight.

    - I would like it made with a 1000D Cordura in a color that would be close to the examples I've posted pictures of.

    - I would like 1" webbing instead of leather. No need for the metal hook pictured on the leather strap. I will be wearing in over my shoulder and have it hang down at my side like a purse....uhhh I mean satchel.

    - No fastex plastic buckles or the like. Less is more with this.

    - I would like to be able to put the lid flat in the bottom, and have the canteen and cup sit on top of it.

    - Good quality black or grey Pull the Dot snaps for the two closure flaps.

    - A grommet hole in the bottom for drainage.

    - No writing, emblems, or tags on the outside. I will pay extra to keep a billboard off of the outside.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Originally I was going to suggest the mother canteen carrier from center line but the reading the post this could be tricky. Most people don’t do the lift the dot. I have the hardware and the tools to do the fasteners if you get hung up on that. When I did wwii reeneacting I fixed a lot of gear for people. Your version won’t have the wool lining. You could reach out to mark and maybe he could make this for you.

Coyote Brown is the closest color in 1000D Cordura, however I believe one needs reinforcement where the Lift the Dot hardware goes, or Line 24 black snaps.

Edit. Other colors that may work

    Coyote Tan/Tan 499

Khaki- not the Desert Tan shade but the more greenish gray shade seen in 3 color Desert

    Carhartt Brown or Tan

I have an idea that I can send your way when I get home tonight for a rig with canvas if you are interested.

    Cheers!

I think the line 24 snaps would work fine.

I’d really like to get a a light brown color Cordura. A hint of green wouldn’t be a disqualification.

As BlueDigScout mentioned, no wool lining needed.

Any and all ideas would be appreciated.

This might be a hot selling item for somebody that could pump them out.

Thank you to all for the replies.

I was put in contact with a guy and spoke with him earlier today about it. I should have the cover in hand before the end of the month. I’ll post pictures and info when I get it.

    This place is great.
