I've not weighed mine, but they don't weigh much more than an empty coke can. They're very light.

I have a couple, and just ordered 4 more for $35 shipped. The candle one is the only one I've ever had an issue with, it wouldn't stay inflated. It was replaced immediately.

Glad I could cost you all money for a change :D

Thanks for the heads up! I've been wanting one of these since our last meetup. Now I got two for the price of one. Sweet!

Depends on which you buy …. For example the "EMRG" appears to be about 2.5 oz. whereas the Luci Color appears to be about 4.4 oz.!

Check the specs in their normal shop part of the site rather than the discount warehouse part.

    Hope this helps.

    OJ.

ETA. Just bought 2 for myself as well. Thanks for the heads up @Crusher0032

I have about 30 working Coleman lanterns, but "back of beyond", nothing competes with a few LUCI Lights tucked in odd corners of the packs...

If you're referring to mine, mine isn't even a real Luci, though they are probably made in the same place.

Back in the BWCA, where it gets blacker than the inside of a cow's belly, I tie several LUCI lights to trees around camp, and pointed in all directions. I fret less over the Grandson(s) getting up and moving around during the night, if the camp is well lit. The lights will burn all night, and it's no problem to recharge them the next day. Then to, there's no worry about a tent catching fire, or batteries running down,,,

How does the luci light compare to the luminaid?

We had the Luminaid lights on clearance at work for 5bucks! I bought 10.

I like them .Used them almost exclusively for our recent 6day outage.

It's legal here in FL. Here's a photo that a local shop owner and a guide did while testing about a week ago.

When you added it to your cart, a popup came up and allowed you to select a second one, which then deducted the price from the total.
Call them and explain and maybe they'll send you the pther one.

These are a little smaller than the one I had already, but its much better for putting in a bag or something.

One of my new ones doesnt work, so I will see if it needs charging and if not then I'll ask for a replacement.

The luminaid below for comparison. My hiking buddy left this one behind. He's happy with them. Ordered direct from the web site. He paid $40 Canadian for 2 of them. I'm going check out the luci in Canada. Thanks man!

Both companies offer multiple models. The original Luminaid PackLite16 (the bag shaped one) is no longer in production. Their current models are similar in size/shape to the Lucis, except that they are cubes instead of cylinders.

You can find comparison charts for the various models of each company at the links:

    Luci Light
    Luminaid

I'm also a big fan of Solight. Their SolarPuff & Helix have the advantage of not needing to be inflated. They unfold into a cube similar in size to the others mentioned.

The bottom line is that if you like the Luminaid Paklite, you'll be just as happy with the Luci lights, and 2 for 1 is hard to beat.

No, put it in your cart, then a popup asks which other light you want, choose from that list and when you add it to your cart it subtracts it from the price immediately.

Only certain items are on sale, see the original link.

Just put an even number lights from the link in your cart and then it'll reduce the overall cost.

We've been experimenting with using only these in the house for the past 8 days and it's not bad at all. It's rained here every day for a week, but we've managed to charge them enough to use each evening.

The SolarPuff is made from PET fiiber, same as Dacron sailcloth.

It's lighter than the other two and you don't need to inflate it as it folds open. On the negative side when unfolded it tends to be a little lumpy, it's difficult to get it perfectly square (which I don't really care about) and there are two small holes to let air in when it unfolds so it isn't going to float as well as the inflatable types.

I like how it puts light down as well as up without having to turn it over. Still like my Luci light, but options are good.

Got my second order today. 2 of the emergency lights and 2 color change. The emergency lights they shipped were the new version with the battery meter. Really like these lights, will be great for power outages.

They did. There was an issue with the address. Somehow things got crossed up, but they verified it with Google maps. When though the street name still ended up being wrong, but I live in a rural area so I still got it. They sent me a 20% coupon for the trouble.
