Anyone here a member? It would take me around an hour and a half to get to any meetings, events or shoots. Just wondering if it's worth it.

I usually only make it to one shoot a year that being the "Poke n Hope" the second weekend in July. It runs Friday through Sunday. They have 4 separate courses of 15-20 3D targets and a number of specialty shoots. It's a great group of people we look forward to seeing every year. Camping is free. Membership is pretty cheap compared to a lot of other associations and you get a subscription to the Northeast Sportsman magazine. You could show up in July and pay the daily entry fee, talk to members and see if you would be interested in joining. If you want any more particulars pm me and I will gladly answer any questions you have. -mike
