I have been looking at haversacks for a while and remembered I had a Maxpedition large Tactile pouch, skeleton bottle holder, strap and pad already. I just needed another pouch to hold a little more essentials. Looked around a found Maxpedition TC-3 pouch in OD Green on Amazon. So I put in all together and came up with this:

Thanks guys. I wish the “large” pouch was a little bigger, but the limited size keeps the weight down.

Nice kit! I'm curious how it all goes inside. My immediate reaction was "Needs stuff sacks/ditty bags" to organize the stuff in the bags, but that kind of thinking is part of the reason my packs are so heavy. hahah! Well done!

Hey bacpacjac, everything in the lower portion of the photo to the right of the knife over to the little compass fits in the outside pouch. Almost all of it in the plastic bag. Small Esee 5x5 tarp, tyvik and stakes go in the bottom of the large pouch and the last few items go on top. Knife attaches to the outside of the bag.
