Midway always seems to have some good knife deals. I noted tonight that they've cycled back to Cold Steel and Ontario/Old Hickory as two of the prime sale brands. Several others of course (Emerson, for those of you into them).

Free shipping at $25 worth of knives. (If you order other stuff, there will be a reduced shipping charge for it.)

I see 3 CS knives in 3V steel under $100, and a few more between there and $150. I've been carrying a Pendleton Mini Hunter for awhile now and am pleased and I usually can't deal with small handles. This one works

The little CS parring knife for less than $6 in 4116 is a very handy blade in the kitchen and out. Fold some Kydex around it and you have a very light neck knife that might surprise you a bit.

Most of Ontario's 5160 knives are on sale, as well as their time tested machetes.

I've purchased quite a few from them lately. Some good prices at present:

    Old Hickory 7" Butcher - $7.
Old Hickory 14" Butcher - $14. (more like a light machete)

Cold Steel Canadian Belt Knife - $10.
Cold Steel Roach Belly - $10.50
Cold Steel Pendleton Lite Hunter - $13.

Ontario RAT Model II - $22.

I got a Pendleton Mini Hunter for$24.40 but it's now up to $32.

Up till yesterday I didn't know that Ontario made the Old Hickory, While looking at my old kitchen knives I saw both names on the blades.
