Midway always seems to have some good knife deals. I noted tonight that they've cycled back to Cold Steel and Ontario/Old Hickory as two of the prime sale brands. Several others of course (Emerson, for those of you into them). Free shipping at $25 worth of knives. (If you order other stuff, there will be a reduced shipping charge for it.) I see 3 CS knives in 3V steel under $100, and a few more between there and $150. I've been carrying a Pendleton Mini Hunter for awhile now and am pleased and I usually can't deal with small handles. This one works The little CS parring knife for less than $6 in 4116 is a very handy blade in the kitchen and out. Fold some Kydex around it and you have a very light neck knife that might surprise you a bit. Most of Ontario's 5160 knives are on sale, as well as their time tested machetes.
