image.jpg Hello all. I've been working on some PSK stuff and came across these mini glow sticks in the fishing section at Wumart. I think they attach to a bobber. Anyway, I wanted to see if these worked, at all? I broke this one yesterday and it's been glowing for almost 24 hours. It was in the garage and I went and picked it up, gave a good shake and it got brighter, it was still glowing mind you.

I don't know if it's a fluke or what. But this thing has impressed me for sure.

Lol. Wife can't understand why this excites me so!

image.jpg Found the package it came in. Still wondering if this is just an odd occurrence. But pretty cool.

I had some in the PSK I just sold on the blanket. Theyre great for their size for sure.

The green ones always seemed to glow longer than the other colors.

Check the shelf life date. They do expire and would no longer glow.

Those things rock! The ones I have are probably a different brand but they look just like that. I got 'em from Amazon. It's surprising how bright they are given their tiny size. Apropos of nothing, I've used Cyalume light sticks that were "expired" by several years and all of them have still worked fine. Probably they do expire eventually but they seem to keep pretty well.
