I find that this is a most excellent book. If I had any one improvement I would make it spiral bound so that it would lay flat and make it waterproof also but that would increase it's size. As it is now the book is relatively compact for an extensive book about knots. I am thinking of making taking some of the most relevant pages, copying them, print them out in color and maybe even laminate them.

The best feature is all the ropes are different colors and the photos to document tying the knots are all well done.

I do not have a lot of experience with knot tying. So anyone who has comments on this book or anyone who has some suggestions for the best bushcraft knots please help me out.

I suppose that's useful if ya really like tying lots of different or ornamental knots. I use the same 6 or 8 over and over, they get me by nicely. And I dont have to carry a book. :dblthumb:

There a few apps out there as well. I have three on my phone and they are a great place to start for very little investment.
