Hey Folks, This past summer I bought myself a little device that allows me to easily mount my cameras to my canoe/kayak/small boat. It's called the #135 camera/compass mount and it's made by Scotty (they make a lot of fishing equipment) It's small, inexpensive, durable and versatile. I've put together a short video review . Please check it out:

Good review. I use the same one on my 'yak. It already had 4 of the deck mounts attached to the tracks when I bought it, so I just dedicated one of those for camera use instead of for a fishing pole. They are pretty solid once in place. No complaints from mine.
