Well my wife and I were layed off recently and we decided to move to a better job market. My best friend lives nearby so our kids can now play together. But other than them my wife and I don't really know anyone or the area. I'm looking to do some hunting this season.
Anyone else live in the area? Doing any bushcraft roundabouts here?

Got a job working in the hunting section "The Lodge" of Dick's Sporting Goods. I'm just hoping I get to go hunting this season now.

That'd be great! There's a few of us in these parts. We should get a dayhikes or something going.

If you want national forest, head up to White Rock National Forest and there will be shores lake and etc up HWY215. Cambel cemetery is where we always camped and is fairly wild. I have a place near Board Camp on the Franklin/Crawford county line. Most city people dont know about board camp too much and is backwoods and tough survival. It would be around 30min from you location.

I rolled though van buren just last week when I was home for vacation. Buzzed up next to walmart and lowes, then down to Yeager's Ace hardware....and now my job that started in Ft Smith has landed me close to the gulf....Enjoy the sticks of Crawford county my friend!

Not much action on the NW Arkansas forum. I'm still up for some outings if anyone's interested. Let me know.

I often canoe from Wolfpen to Campbell Cemetary, it's a great area to camp.
