I love my MP Knife and Badger Claw Leatherworks sheath. I have no idea what this knife is called but it was a wonderful "Twelve Knives of Christmas" gift from @t.darrah this past December and I am so grateful for it!

I think that might be a Hunter-Gatherer model.

Or maybe the the Bushcraft-Hunter? @bacpacjac

That's a heck of a gift! That model is the "Hunter Gatherer". It's the same one that I carry and use every day.

I just love it. Such a generous guy, @t.darrah is! I expect my Great Grandkids will inherit this knife some day. :)

They cover nearly all my bases so figuring out my third, which I plan to order direct from @556mp will take a bit longer then I had though. :dblthumb:

Used it to chop out this bow drill set, the other day. Still need to make a sheath for it.

Wow that's nice! I love the high saber like grind on it compared to several Wolfpups I've seen. I don't know if it would fit my hand but if it did this would be close to number one choice MP!

Probably tied with the one above is the Drifter MK II, and then the Hunter Gatherer second or third depending.

I really like that Wolf Pup up there though! I can't stop staring at it and this is the third time today I've come to look at it.

I completely agree with you. I love the higher grind line with the forged details covering less of the blade than other examples of Matt’s knives than I’ve seen. This thing fits my hand like it was meant for it, and I usually wear a medium-large glove. It’s much prettier in person than the pics, and it cuts anything I’ve thrown at it like a laser. I believe his MKII offerings are more finished looking like this or even more so with no hammered areas. That’s the best part about Matt though, that he can literally make it and finish it however you want it.

Testing out my new Modern Bushcrafter. So far so good... comfortable and I love this scandi for wood processing. Only got time for backyard bushcraft with it; hope to get out soon.

Can chop a bit with a three finger grip if I really needed it to.

Makes nice thin shavings and throws gobs of sparks.

Carves well. Although I had to use a small sloyd to get the letters started.

Makes nice feathers once I got use to how deep it wants to bite. :)

    Thanks Matt! :dblthumb:
