A couple weeks ago I did a solo trip in northern Saskatchewan Canada. I took my delta 15.5 kayak and headed out for 10 days. The trip consisted of 7 lakes 4 streams and 5 portages. I did a big 300km loop to eventually end back where I started.

It was certainly an adventure and I managed to get some great footage. I’ll be putting out some videos of the trip. If you want a sneak peak you can check it out on YouTube.

The channel is brand new so if you could show it some love it would be much appreciated!

Also I’d be happy to answer any questions you have about the gear I used or the trip in general.

Epic to say the least! That looks like some serious FUN :dblthumb:. Really enjoyed the little sneak peek vid, well done! Amazing stretch of country you paddled through!

What kind of fish did you primarily catch? Those waters look like they have potential to hold some big pike. Are there tiktalik (I think they're called burbot in english) in that neck of the woods?

Good on ya for hand fishing with a hobo reel, always a good time :14:

Thanks man! I caught pike, walleye, and sauger. There are burbot as well but I didn’t catch any. There are definitely some huge pike in those lakes. I wasn’t far from were the provincial record 56” pike was caught. The hobo real wasn’t by choice lol. I broke my rod on my second day and had to improvise haha

Great trip. Too bad your rod broke. Lucky your kayak held up. Would hate to get stuck midway with a broken boat.
