My first attempt at a wood spirit

    So I am hoping to start doing a bit of carving. So far I have done 2 spoons, (first one has a hole) and this. This was just a small scrap I had lying around so I decided to play with it before attacking my walking stick. It needs some work still and it's rough. But I did it. lol

    That is awesome, keep at it.

    I've found all the little techniques I've developed while carving spoons, chip carving, and attempting a wood spirit make crafting tent stakes, pot hangers, and other useful items in the woods so much easier.

    Nice job indeed, much better than my first attempt. keep it up, I find it very relaxing....even if my end results are less than inspiring--still fun!:D
