I have been playing with similar designs for about a year and this is the first I have been truly happy with. DSCN5614.JPG DSCN5616.JPG

Make a little harness out of paracord to wrap around and the bottom of the jar and you could hang it.

    Very clever and practical design.
You've got a real winner there.
I'm guessing you could easily sell those.
Great circle cut in that bottle!

    Nice!

I have not seen them with the little leg at the bottom to keep it level. Good idea.

The only hole is wher the lid goes on, I see waht you mean though I just set the candle holder on the outside for a clear view of the metal work.

Right. It's almost an optical illusion.... it looks like a hole. But now I see it properly.
    Great piece of work!

Tryker I will let it burn longer and find out I had another version I did not like and it cracked the candle and the wax spilled off.

It doesn't get hot enough to melt the candle at least not in an hour.

Made a simpler version today that also works with tealights no spike to hold the candle I will have to check it with the tapers as well. DSCN5653.JPG DSCN5655.JPG
