My tarp set up for this past weekend

    Temps in GA was really mild. I set up using a std. cheap 5x7 tarp as ground cloth and a Old style surplus Military Poncho. Plenty of room under the old style. Great over night.

    Thanks. Yep. I got it off ebay a couple years ago for $30. Like brand new. Its bigger than the new ones.

    Yeah the new ones are garbage, I got issued both and still use my woodland one.

    Simplistic and great set-ups there. I own a GoLite Poncho Tarp and it's probably my favorite pieces of gear, bar none. Poncho Tarps are just so versatile. Rain or shine, winter or summer, I never hit the woods without one.
