Any suggestions for what I should do next or not, would be appreciated The head is not set, so I can remove it easily. I can easily polish it up again if I get any good ideas. Other than the flame I can't think of anything or should I stop.

Pictures of what you have done already?
Without knowing, definitely some decorative file work.

You can delete it if you want to.
Look for "Thread Tools". It's located in the upper right for me. At least on a computer.

I think he means that post. There sbould be a place within each of your posts that say , report, edit, delete, etc. Pretty straightforward.

I would like to see some pictures as well please.

I don't think there is anything wrong with it but I want to add one more mod to it but I am stumped on what to add. So I am looking for some ideas

How 'bout a leathet collar below the head attached by leather twists (think " X") to another smaller collar above?

I like that idea I bought some nice leather for a sheath but I didn't think about a leather collar. I have usually wrapped it in paracord on my others. I am still thinking of more work on the steel

How about a vine and thorn file work on the spine?

I like the collar idea. Die the leather to make it look old/antique.

B51CA335-5192-4169-A429-F297F9551A31.jpeg I modded the handle of my Chogan for better grip. I started by just filing lines and x’s, then added the dot/holes with a red hot nails andburned the file cuts with the same nail.

Thought about shortening, too as it does get thin at the end. I just choke up a bit to a more comfortable sweet spot.
If I were to shorten it I’d start at maybe 2”. Once it’s gone, it’s gone!
    Have fun modding your ‘hawk!

You are right once it's gone you can't bring it back. I have very small hands and when I choke up, it leaves way to much handle. Even after I cut 4" away I am still choking up 2".
