    We collect patches actually.

My Mom has slowly been building a blanket to display all of them over the years.

Not sure it will ever be done?

Also, which National Parks are you looking visit? :)

I have visited many of them... Sometimes it was very unexpected.
I never thought I would visit Fort Pulaski... ha ha I got stationed in Georgia.
I thought I would never get a Casa Grande stamp... ha ha I visited that too.
I know that I will never visit Cammifornia. So I will never get any stamps from there... by choice.

Out west you might really enjoy the parks that Utah, Wyoming, and Montana have to offer.

California does have some rare jewels too but the last time I was there, the parks were real crowded most of the year.

We got them for both of our daughters when they were young. It never occurred to us to get one for ourselves. We remedied that the same day I became eligible for by "America the Beautiful" Senior Lifetime Pass. In the almost four years since, we have accumulated stamps from 64 National Parks and National Monuments.

I can’t imagine passing up Yosemite, the Redwoods, Sequoia, Kings Canyon, etc, simply because they are in CA . I plan on spending lots of time there as I get more able closer to retirement.

I go in for patches to sew on for myself and my grandson .

My grandfather has one. It's full (almost). Him and my grandmother after they retired went on tour for a couple years and hit as many as they could. That turned out to be all of them except the ones you have to get to by bush plane in Alaska, and the one that's in the Virgin Islands

Kobuk Valley, Lake Clark, Gates of the Arctic and Virgin Islands are the only four out of 61 he hasn't been to yet.

Yes I do! Got a stamp today, actually. We also usually get a sticker or two and a pressed penny from the 51 cent machines. Or several if the grandkids are in tow.

I’m gonna get that booklet. I can knock off a bunch on day trips. I’ve been to all theses and missed out on stamps.

Yosemite is least crowded (a) the week before Memorial Day, and (b) the week after Labor Day. Same is true of the nearby NP's (King's Canyon, Sequoia). For Yosemite especially, pre-Memorial Day access to the high country and Toulumne Meadows may not be possible if there is a late snow-melt.
