Neat waterproofing video

    I've seen beeswax and turpentine befor but this is cool and different. I'm pretty sure its not new considering the source, but it looks like it really works. Has anyone done this?

    nothing new, i've seen it used to make a DIY silnylon. haven't tried it myself yet and have ready plenty of threads of mixed results. i think the biggest thing based on what i've ready is the silicone needs to be diluted enough so it doesn't go too thick on the fabric. it's on my list of things to do...
