Well, as dangerous as the Ole Smokey Salted Caramel was around the campfire, I think I have found something even more dangerous. On a recent trip to Gatlinburg, TN we stopped at a few of the distillery stores for some tastings. One of them was Doc Collier's... their Root Beer Float goes down even easier than the Salted Caramel. I picked up a bottle for the next outing. It may or not make it till then. You may need to swing by the house to sample some around the fire pit.

    :D

I just started a new job with the same school system that let me go, and broke my heart, six years ago. A shot of something might just be appropriate.

Good call I'm heading to Gatlinburg in a couple weeks. Definitely picking some up. If it's better than that salted caramel......:11:

On second thought, maybe I'll pass. Those alcoholic root beers give me an allergic reaction sometimes. Get real itchy and rashes everywhere. I should just stick with sugar, corn and honey liquors.

Don't know any thing about the alcohol root beer.
Growing up as a family tradition we made root beer every month and used soda bottles we found every where . Mom would wash and sterilize them and we had a bottle capper and new caps for the job. had to stay hidden for at least two really long weeks before we could start opening them. did roughly 5 gallons at a time. .
    I miss those days .

@WY_Not I’m looking forward to it.

    I’ll take @jswi2374 ’share.

@Red Wing I’ll reimburse you $25 if you bring back an extra bottle of something. Don’t go out of your way to pick up an extra bottle though.

Don't think it is an alcoholic root beer. It is root beer flavored "moonshine".

That would be an awesome how-to write up over in the Food thread. Just saying... :4:
