Just wanted to tell you about this grill grate I happened into... I treated myself to this purchase on Amazon after getting a visa gift card from work (small token of appreciation). It’s a titanium grill grate, 6”x8”, and weighs inat just over 5oz. I’ve used it on a couple of occasions now, and I can’t say enough good things about it. It cools down quickly, weighs nothing, is easy to clean up, and helps make my nights out more enjoyable. Disappears in a pack. Highly recommended; worth the high sticker price. Will be with me on all future trips...

Disclaimer: I’m not affiliated with this company (or any other). Just wanted to share my enthusiasm for this piece of gear.

Here it is roasting my marinated fillet; a quick two-log platform plus some hot coals dragged between makes for a tasty grill...

Those small packable grills are a good addition to the overall cook kit.
    The steak looks awesome!

What was the price on these grills if you don't mind me asking? I have the stainless steel version, at least it looks to be dimensionally similar.

Thin Titanium will warp when used in high heat environments. Open flame is +900F so cook under coals and not open flames.

Purcell Trench grills talks about this on their website about their Titanium grills.
