Here we go, this is one of the Aurochs blades that were presented in the post "2xAurochs available soon"; in the meantime this one changed it's prepared handle to something different (the 'guilty' guy for this is our forum mate @TexasPrimitive which planted the seed of this into my mind and so i culd not stop making it :D)

The handle is made out of black linen micarta on top of thick shiny black Corian. Everything is held together using copper fittings for a nice contrast.

    All the best,God bless,
    Bogdan

Here we go with a new guy ;)

Bushcraft Kit Aurochs named 'Jungle stalker'; this blade features a complex hybrid handle made out of 'Jungle lights' sycamore, white linen micarta, A Grade European Yew wood and thin red v fiber liners; everything is held together with shiny brass Corby rivets and lanyard tube.
The blade itself is cold blued to better fit with this nice handle and to offer a + for corrosion resistance; please note that it will wear off with time but it will leave behind a nice patina.

    Blade specs
105 mm long, 3 mm thick, with a 100 mm scandi grind cutting edge. It is made out of O1 high carbon tungsten-vanadium alloy tool steel.

    Handle specs
120 mm long, with two 1/4 inch brass Corby rivet, and a 8 mm brass lanyard tube.
The knife is covered by a lifetime warranty against any manufacturing defect.

This one is on sale HERE ;)

    All the best, God bless,
    Bogdan

    01 steel

I'm not saying it is too sharp, but I am saying I'm not stropping it because I don't think I can make the edge better. Getting transparent curls because they are so thin.

Beautiful work! Did you leave the heat treat scale on that, or is that just the lighting?

@Wolf427 thanks for the question - to be honnest not in the near future; this is not that i am stubborn in any way but due to the fact that as i explained with other ocasions, i would have to change all the making process; i know you will say i am mad :) but it is true, i worked very hard to put all processes together in such a manner to minimize time/effort and in the end to be able to offer one of the best price/quality ratio on the market.I will take this into consideratiob of course ;)

    All the best, God bless,
    Bogdaj

@BogdanS Seriously, how does it feel when you finish a knife like that?

Those knives look really nice and people will use them throughout their lives and likely pass them down.

Thank you very much for being nice boys!
@Wasp - :D - with time you get used with the process and it becomes less painful but it is indeed an "old Chinese guy" work. To be honest even after these years i still love the feel of a well polished handle and the look of a nice finished blade, i think it is a professional 'defect'.
I still hope that when i will be retired i will have the chance for a customer's child to email me asking for the lifetime warranty of a knife made now :D

    All the best, God bless,
    Bogdan

I believe that is the Huracan, with natural linen micarta, brass hardware, and O1 steel. I think $130 USD without a sheath.

@Wolf427 - thank you very much my dear friend for your support! @3855singleshot - indeed the design looks more or less like Huracan but that would me its little brother, the Beaver. It's price would be 110 usd without sheath; all othee specs mentioned by fellow wolf are correct. If you wish even more details you can have a look on my website: www.bushcraft-kit.com , ask here, PM or mail me as you preffer ;)
